What You Are To Me

You're my gentle breeze on a hot summer's day
You're all of my words, when I don't know what to say

You're the peace in the midst of my raging storm
And when it's cold, you're the flame that keeps me warm

You're all of my courage, when I need to be bold
You're all of my wisdom, when the truth must be told

You're that second wind I need to win the race
You're that solitude I have, when I need my space

You're my shield, sword, and armor when I'm waged in war
You're my soothing relief when my body is soar

When the world tears me down, you're there to build me back up
And when I am thirsty, you fill my cup

You're the encouragement I need to give life one more try
You're the wings on my back when I'm destined to fly

You're the essence of all things I need to survive
You're the breath in my body that keeps me alive.

    I love it just like i love all of your other poems. you really know what to write and how to write it. I think that you could be a famous poet one day lol well i hope you are anyway cause i really think your good at it. i cant really put in words how you write cause its just that good that you cant exlpain it. well great job dont stop writing!
