In such a fast paced world, one cannot be sure if love still exists. We can only recreate it in words, in visions and through lust.
We were both a part of that tide
The one that swept past you and across the ocean...
Sanity was not an option.
In her mind, the line of woe, had been crossed far...
In this somber home I call my own,
drab ceilings paint shades of grey into my soul...
I beg to differ.
Yet beauty stabs me, immortalizes me with one shot...
Thou art carved your visage into my head
And painted it so perfectly into my heart...
If I take those luminous porcelain cavaliers
And place them in front of my sullen visage
Will they capture me like a mirror of my soul
or disrupt everything I’ve come to know
The blissful translucent state of my mind
Succumbs into overwhelming fear
As the absence within me grows
like a parched tree, doomed from the moment
It allowed its thriving vines to fail
