Smile

When a new day begins
put a smile on your face.
Yesterday is history,
today's what you embrace.

Live every moment,
like the next would never come.
Cherish every memory,
in this life that you've begun.

Look at the past
and all the laughs you can't forget;
think of all the mistakes you made,
having no regret.

Don't count all of your tears,
instead count all the smiles!
Life doesn't last forever,
so make it worth your while.

Your life is a journey,
up a bumpy hill.
You can't always control it,
but it doesn't mean you should stay still.

And even when you fall,
you learn to get back on your feet,
brushing yourself off,
watching for new challenges to meet.

The higher up the hill,
the harder it is to climb.
So try will all your strength,
to hold on everytime.

And the farther up you pass,
becoming stronger as you grow,
you solve your own mysteries,
understanding what there is to know.

So if you lose your way,
don't be afraid to start a trail.
Don't you think of giving up!
It's the only time you truly fail.

And if fear ever comes your way,
just ban it from the start.
Don't ever let it get to you,
Don't let it tear you apart!

Remember that in life,
if there was no wrong, there wouldn't be right.
So every mistake makes you appreciate
every battle that you fight.

Most importantly, you must remember,
never to look down.
Keep your face towards the sunshine,
and you'll never have to frown!
