We met exactly a week ago
My heart beats fast and now I know
There is something special about you boy
Do I dare say so or leave it alone

We met because of business
But we did soon see
That we ended up talking about you and me

We had a “few moments” of what we were there for
However that’s all that was spent on sponsorship and more
Lots of laughs and smiles we did share
Sipping hot chocolate, we do make quite a pair

Talking on the phone, your voice puts me in a trance
By the end of the day I just wanted to dance.
It looks like a friendship we have begun
Maybe something else, let’s wait the days not done.

As I am writing I can’t help but feel
That this is not right, as these feelings are real
A Friendship is where this needs to stay
I’m not sure what happened on that last day

We clicked so easily that much is true
But did we miss something and did it happen to soon
You, dear boy are one of a kind
For now I’m confused and can’t make up my mind.

The words you have spoken make me wonder
What will happen next, that is what I need to ponder.

We met because of business yet things went a different way
