Blue Eyed Girl:__

So much hurt and so much pain
Lays beneath those blue eyes,
But nobody ever sees the hurt
Nobody ever seems to hear her cries..

Although every night she lays awake
And so silently she weeps,
Nobody ever seems to see her agony
Or knows how her pain runs so deep..

While every now and again
She adds a few more fresh cuts,
Nobody she lets ever see them so that
they can’t bombard her with ‘whys’ or ‘buts’..

Sometimes she sits and contemplates
Just finally letting her life go,
To at last feel no more hurt or pain
It’s not like anybody would ever know..

Often the tears start to roll down
Her angelic soft pink cheek,
But nobody ever seems to care
Nobody seems to notice she is so weak..

She is always trying to find somehow
To make all of her pain go away,
But, for some reason that remains unknown
She is still broken and left astray..

There is something that has done this
Something that has torn her life in two,
But nobody ever seems to notice
That all her fake smiles are so untrue..

Why does she hurt so badly like this
Why is her heart broken as can be,
Why do those tears fall all the time
Why is this blue eyed girl, me?
