Country Lovin'

by Renee   Aug 13, 2005

-*- okay, I wrote this poem a long ass time ago. -*-

Cindy needed a man,
a man she could trust
Hell, she was like every other woman,
wishing for love.

Stan didn't have nothin',
no wife and no kids
He was just peachy
plowin' the feilds with his pick.

That hicktown life,
was the only thing they would know
until one fine mornin',
as the heat was picking up slow.

Stan was heading to town,
to pick up a new tractor.
Cindy was on her way to work,
left her driveway not long after.

They were heading round the bend,
going about 50 a peice
she heard the screech of the tires,
and lifted her head from the seat.

Those sirens were loud,
and his head was pounding.
And as he looked to his left,
he noticed a young woman poutin'.

\"What the hell dun happened?"
He asked, concern on his face.
\"I reckon I wasn't lookin',
and our cars smashed face."

A few months passed,
and word got around.
About how two destined lovers,
--Collided into each other--
