I'll get over you

by Ebony Ithuriel   Aug 13, 2005

Lying on my bedroom floor,
Can’t bear to lie here and think of you anymore.
I’m going to get over you,
Even if it’s the last thing I do.

Can’t believe you have so much control of me,
You’re the source of my misery.
I’m not depressed any longer,
I’m now more determined and stronger.

Yes I love you, I confess,
But you’ve made my life such a mess.
I don’t hate you for not loving me,
I now know that we’re not meant to be.

I’ll find someone new,
I’ll get over you,
I’ve given up the hope of us.
Spent over a year being depressed. That’s enough.
