I had this friend
We would play every day
We always met up at the tower
And we waited at each others houses
For many long hours
Every hour was friendship
It was filled with a lot of love
But then one day
I just got punched with a metal glove
I was waiting at the tower
Waiting to start to play
But that was the one day
She just walked away
I went to her house
Nobody was home
I got scared so i called her
On her mothers cell phone
There was no answer there either
I just waited and waited
Waited for an hour
I waited there at the tower
She never did come back that day
I didn't know that
She would leave me like that
All unhappy and astray
Then i remembered the next day
It was never that, that had happened
It happened 50 years ago
I have never been happy
Since that day
Her mom and dad died
And those people took her away
I still haven't seen her
Heard from her
Got a letter from her
I hope she still remembers me
Like i remember her
I will know i will rejoin her one day
On the trial of my dieing day
I know then she will never leave me
