A Broken Lesson

by RapMastaT   Aug 13, 2005

Lately,
It seems like,
Everything is going wrong,
And everyone is lying,
Avoiding what is needed,
To make things right,
In every song,
There are words,
But in all my friends,
There is crying,
And with all the hate seeded,
Into my head,
Who do I believe?,
And when the stories are told,
Do I fight?,
Or do I play along?,
Because in the end,
The tears need drying,
And the fear must be succeeded,
And rather than playing dead,
Something needs to be done,
But how can we achieve?,
If we aren't together,
When will others enter the fold?,
Does it make it right?,
To walk away,
Because lessons weren't heeded,
When we weigh ourselves down,
With all this lead,
It doesn't mean we've all won,
I see it as the eve,
Of the day we sever,
And we go cold,
What was once tight,
Broken in one day,
After everything was said,
He still held a smoking gun,
But wouldn't leave,
Never say never,
Because friendship is worth,
Its weight in gold,
So keep that in mind,
Because maybe one day,
We will be back together,
But for now,
Its a broken mould.
