The WEb

Sometimes circumstances and situations of life make us feel trapped as though were tangled in a web and we are trapped. Were trapped in our self. We are trying to run the show by our own selfishness and stupidity. Slowly lowering us into the sticky web. At first we are only in so deep, but still able to move, not realizing the enemy is hiding in the farthest corner waiting to inject his venom. We continue on in our own ways forgetting the One who knows our path and has our best interest, the one who holds the master plan. We push Him aside and we lead the way. But every time we make a decision or a life choice without first going to the life source we become tangled up in the web a little more and a little more. We feel the struggle we feel the grip, but we still feel as though we are in control. All the while the enemy searches us and fixates his eyes of disaster upon he and us smiles as he watches the web entangle us more and more. He is clever, and patient, not revealing himself yet staying concealed in the darkest corner. We pursue our goals our dreams and what we think is best. The one who gives is no longer the giver in our lives we are simply in control; we are the masters of our own destiny. But suddenly we realize we gasp for air and cry out because we finally take a moment to look at you. We see the web of deceit the pride the ignorance of what wave done. "We've pushed him away and become enslaved to self now trapped in the web of life trying to break free but the web has us so entangled its so tight we cant break free. Then we see him, the one, and the enemy. His eyes tell of the laughter he is holding in and we realize we have separated ourselves from the Lord. We’ve allowed the enemy his foothold and are now trapped in our own web of sin. The enemy creeps closer waiting to inject his venomous poison were scared but we know what we need to do, you close your eyes taking the focus off of the enemy and your surroundings and silently at first you begin to cry out in prayer to the one alone who saves. Your silence turns to outward praise as we remember we are not the masters of our selves. God is. As we continue to pray and sing out praises the web is slowly disenagratin . You feel the grip loosen and you open your eyes. You see the horrific look on the creeping enemies face. Its one of horror. He is being tormented by your praise. You shout it out louder singing with all your whole being now your completely loosed from the bondage of self. You don’t run as you think you would but you stand as you watch the enemy become covered in his own venom the very venom he was waiting to inject in you. He staggers back into his dark corner of the web as you fall thru the untangled hole and fall safely to the petal of a flower. You smell sweetness in the air and continue praising God as all selflessness is stripped off. Your back where you belong your in the hands of the Father.
