Rain Still Falls

I can still hear the rain against my window pane
In my world it still pours, the weather stays the same
I still think about you and I still sit and cry
And I still can’t help but to ask God why
I blame him for the actions that took place that day
How I gained a new pain in so many different ways
Tears run down my face like a faucet
And memories play back to when I almost lost it
The rain still falls and it leaves me soaking wet
Haunting me with memories that I try to forget
Red in the eyes tears on my pillow
Rain hitting hard against my window
I feel all alone even though Im really not
But you have to understand that you meant a lot
Still hard to believe that you’re not here with me
But I know you’re in a better place so bless it be
The rain still falls and hits my window pane
