Thinking Of You

by Dark   Aug 15, 2005

I'm burning here thinking of you, recalling that horrid day
when I ran into flames just to watch you fade away.
I thought a lot since that day, and nothing makes sense.
You died because of a fire, but I'm dealing with the consequence.
No one remembers what I did, the thing i gave my life to do
I ran into the fire without regards, just to save you
Now the outcome wasn't right, and I'm sorry that you died
but I can't turn back time, so I waste my time to cry
I'm fighting for us both, I'm living your life too
since i take responsibility for your death, its the least that I can do.
I'll do everything you wanted, make a life, have fun.
I know its not the same, but it'll do so in the long run
I'll make you proud of me, and live without regret
all the things you've told me, I swear I won't forget.
"never break a girls heart, never make her cry.
never be afraid to fight, don't fear to tell a lie."
Those few words, I swear I've written in stone.
I stare and think about you, when I feel I'm all alone
Your hand is on my shoulder, though i can't see
I know you're always right along, taking your time to help me
saying thanks is not enough, so I'll do as I say.
I'll make my life worth, and for you, I'll be happy one day.
