Pain

I cut myself today
I needed something to erase this pain
And now I am lying here on the floor
Bleeding out my dreams and fears
They said it would be alright
Just give it some time
But they never looked inside my eyes.
They don't know what you did to me.
They don't know how much it hurt,
When you walked away with out one word
Just left me alone, with all this pain.
I've tried to explain it.
But it won't go away
No matter how hard I try
I keep remembering all you lies
That keep making me cry.
But with my door shut tight
When I turn out the lights
God will have a new Angel tonight
