The Story of Your Life

by Jenni   Aug 16, 2005

When I feel lost and angry,
I run to my room and cry.
When I can't take life anymore,
I sit by you and tell you my problems.

You would just listen,
And answer with a sway of a tree.
I know you saw Angels as you died,
I saw them too.

You fought so many battles,
World War II, Cancer, Blood Clots,
And the worst of all,
Life.

I Knew you were dieing,
As I grabbed you hand.
And felt you squeeze mine,
A coma can't keep you from me.

That same day
I felt your soul drain.
As you gave one finally squeeze,
Your face smiled as to say you were happy now.

My love will reach Heaven,
I'll talk to you in my dreams every night,
And I'll tell your story,
The story of your life
