The Real You

by SaphireAngel   Aug 17, 2005

Why do you pretend?
i know that mask is fake
you take it off every night
and replace it when you wake
you don't have to pretend
that your life is worry-free
because i know that, deep down inside
you're more worried than me
you're worried that someone will find
that mask while you're asleep
and you won't wake up and catch them
cause of their stealthy creep
you don't have to pretend
to protect your reputation
because you know that, in the end
it won't affect your situation
