Getting on

by Sinister Soire   Aug 18, 2005

A new world
a new place
and everywhere
a different face

a new city
a new town
and everywhere
I wear a frown

why can't I
just adapt
instead of always
being trapt

I want to run
I want to hide
and in my readers
I confide

that this fear
is what I need
just to answer
prayer and plead

it gives me words
and gives me hope
to get around
and learn to cope

I'll get around
all the faces
and get through
these new places
