For an Angel

I never thought that I would LOVE again.
I’ve quite forgotten what is LOVE, and what it meant.
I only remember the hurts and aches that I’ve felt
Cease to see the light of day,
And just sulk and cry the night away.
Then one day, as I opened my eyes,
I felt God’s grace, and saw the hopes that lies.
I held my head high,
To see the sky,
I felt my grief and sorrows die.
And in my arms as I looked down to see,
A beautiful angel that He had given me,
Sometimes I forget,
To thank Him for the gifts that I get.
So I’m asking you to please tell Him personally …

“ Thank you God, for giving YOU to me”.
