Cursed Blessing

The happiness your love has brought,
is a blessing within my heart.
But cursed is the way this was meant to be,
we both reside apart.

No other could have done the task,
you broke through all my fears.
The smiles will continue,
though sometimes joined by tears.

The sad drops will be wet
with pains of worry and desire.
But joyful ones will adorn the eyes;
revealing a passionate fire.

One heartbreaking goodbye will eventually lead
To seeing each other again.
