I came to you when i laughed;
you shared my happiness.
I came to you when i cried;
you understood my sorrow.
I came to you when i was angry;
you calmed me as no one else can.
I came to you when i was hurt;
you healed all of my pain.

I come to you now, holding my
heart and soul and my most
secret intimate feelings,
in the palms of my outstretched
hands, i stand before you
unprotected and vulnerable.

take my hands and pull me
close to you, wrap yourself
around me.
shelter me, protect me,
comfort me, cherish me,
never betray me, never hurt me.

And forever i will be yours.
