My Air Fairy

by lindzy   Aug 23, 2005

My teeny tiny fairy
Who controlled the air
Was sometimes very selfish
And sometimes quite unfair

Her wings were made with angel dust
Her eyes the softest blue
But my stubborn little air fairy
Didn't do what she had to do

Instead she just played
In the clouds day and night
Happy as a singing bird
It really was a sight

But she was to learn
That her playing had a price
For teeny little air fairies
Playing would not suffice

So her silver wings grew tarnished
And crumbled before her eyes
Her body silently disappeared
And my tiny air fairy died

HAHAHAHA As strange as this is I feel like there's a message to be heard in it. There are certain things that must be done....for goofiing off you will pay a price. Not sure if that's what you were going for but that's what I got from it...I think that's very cool...intentional or not. Very unique and creative...Nicely done!! :)
