Acting

by Miss Kayla   Aug 23, 2005

She plays a part she was never meant to play
Acts like someone else just to get away
She tries to be someone different, wishing that she were
Hiding her identity, her life is just a blurr
With each passing day she slips futher into this act she lives
Thinking this girl she's pretending to be is who she really is
She's filled witha sense of loss, sadness and shame
If they saw the real her, they'd all forget her name
So she goes on playing a part she was never meant to play
Acts like someone else just to get away
