Last Wolf

by Weeping Wolf   Aug 23, 2005

When the last eagle soars over the last crying crimson skies
And the last brave lion roars and last worn unicorn dies
Through the shadows, staggers out the last wolf, it cries

I'm still alive, I alone survived!

As the last breath of wind fills the sweet dying air
Look with your heart not your eyes, at what is still there
Shes still here, though looking sad and torn
Stare unbelieving as the last wolf mourns

I'm alive...only I survived...

Under the last weeping morning
Theres a last pale moon rising
Nothing living left to show warning
the last wolf, still sits there mourning

no one left alive...only I survived...

She in all the world can feel pain and regret
Of being immortal while the rest perished
Life leaves forever, everything else to dying
Except this one last wolf to stay, proudly crying

I'm alive! I survived!
