The teachers always screaming
Why wont they just let me be
I know my grades have dropped
From a perfect A to a lousy C

Why wont they just understand
That I have stopped hiding
Behind the person I used to be
That my time I was just biding

My parents always giving me a hard time
Looking at me strangely
Because I am not what they wished
I just look at them blankly

They will never understand
How it feels to be me
The pain that I endure
No one will ever see…

    Well if you don't feel the poem is done to what makes you happy then the only thing that i can seem to think of is what maybe her friends think of this change she is going through. but i think this is a great poem one of your better ones, i'll come back to it later and see if i think the same thing and maybe then give you more suggestions if you wish.
