Our Screaming Silence

by Renee   Aug 23, 2005

A screaming silence
is what we share.
And you can't hear,
what I'm trying to blare.

I wanted to make the first move
It's tempting, so tempting
But other things are in your thoughts,
and it's me you're forgetting.

If I wanted to, I could blind you
by showing just how often you're on my mind.
But that would make no difference,
If he's smothering you with cotton-candy rhymes.

I could write you so many love poems,
But I would need your love first.
And if he's the one receiving,
I'm deprived of my one thirst.

You see, I could scream my lungs out,
While he whispers -nothings- in your ear.
Instead I'll silently tear at my flesh,
while his arms hold you near.

-*- meh, crush problems. It seems the only people I end up liking are out of my reach. What the hell's up with that? And a question : should I even think of telling them if there would be no chance in hell for me? for example they have someone else...Advice would be nice.:-) I'm so pathetic...-*-

You're not pathetic, you're in love, there is a difference. You should tell them, because there always is a chance, but if you fear the relationship you have is in jeopardy, I say don't blurt it out, maybe just hint on it. This is a great poem hun, only one correction, you put "hod" instead of "hold" :-). *Hugs* He may not be there forever and if you tell them now, then if/when they break up or whatnot, then the chance of the one you like coming to you is higher. E> I'm here for you hun, you know that. Love you, take care & good luck. E> xoxoxox
