She glazed out the window, staring into the night.
she hid her face in the pillow, keeping out all the light.
she opened up her dresser, and pulled out a gun.
she though about her past, and everything she had done.
she looked at the bottle of pills, that lay aside from her bed.
she tried to block out all the memories, and everything in her head.
She shoved the gun in her pocket, and told her mom goodbye.
she walked around the block, and asked herself "Why?"
she came upon a woods, and walked right through.
she thought about her life, and knew what she had to do.
she took out the gun, and pointed it at her head.
she knew that everything she had done, this is where it led.
she thought about it one last time, before she pulled the trigger.
she heard voices in her head say that she had one last chance, that God had given her.
she dug a hole, and set the gun down.
she burried it under dirt, and no longer wore a frown.
she went back home, and gave her mom a hug.
she apologized for everything, and said "God, you're my only drug!"
