My friend

Id like you to know what a good friend you've been,
There's so many times that you've made me grin.
The times we have laughed when we were both in doubt,
Think of the times we've helped each other out.
I consider your friendship so very unique,
To lose it would mean life would be dull and bleak.
So think of this poem as a gift just for you,
Because real friends like you are very few.
