BloodStained Twilight

by Kate   Aug 25, 2005

Rain of red falling twilight,
Beckoner of the last loved night.
Dance with me, but only if you dare,
Gracefully, twirling in the air,
I sink back to earth, as all must end
To meet something I can never mend.
To fall in love on the last night,
To dance under the last twilight.

To a God’s war will we succumb,
But our death prepares for a new world’s come.
And as long as I’m in your arms,
For the rest of eternity, I will fear no harms
