Loneliness

by Justin   Aug 26, 2005

To walk hand in hand was a promise?
Or a vow to forget?
Like sudden blow of wind,
Gusting in ablution of all memories
Music flowing from an unknown land and time,
Beckons my freedom laden mind,
To fly with its wings for an unknown destination
My mind looking for ultimate salvation.
Inebriated with loneliness I roam,
Like shooting star across the starry dome,
The bell tolls as it searches in the dust for love lost,
The tears of my eyes like silent rain drops,
Shimmering shining in the iridescent sun.
