Grandfather

by Erin   Aug 27, 2005

As i watched you sleep
On that cold April day
I couldn't help but weep
Cause i knew it wouldn't be ok

The family was all here
Saying our final bye
We all held you so dear
I stood right next to you determind not to cry

I didn't want you to go
But finally i did
It just goes to show
That you where ready and said your final bid

Right when i knew you where dead
I ran out of the room
The room spun as i held my head
I had finally reached my doom

(i was in the room when my grandfather died, i held his hand while he took his last breath. Then i let go of his hand and ran out of the room. and i grabbed my head in the bathroom)
