Beautiful...heartfelt...very nice rhyming... I am glad you did not have to deal with a death...I wonder what that long story is... Anyhow, keep writing these touching poems.

    Take care.

Holy cow! That was great! I especially liked this stanza:

"And when I think of your presence
Smiling will be the first thing I do
    Because I cannot be saddened
Every time I think of you"

It is so true. A young man in my youth group recently passed away at the young age of 18, but there was not a single frowning face when we all started telling stories and recalling memories. You just have to learn to not dwell on the bad, but reminise in the good. And just remeber, your dear friend isnt just in "a better place" he's in the best place, and someday you will be there with him to. This was a great poem. You got my 5! Keep up the talent and God Bless!

WOW! it sounds like a death poem, but im glad its not. Ok i thought it was really good. and im not just sayin that to get this over with but..your rhyming and the words you chose where excellent. I can tell alot of emotion was put into it, when i was reading it it kinda made me sad cuz i was thinkin about it as a death poem. even tho its not its still real sad...wow, im retarded. sry
