Shattering Heart

Today was the day the remains of
My heart finally shatters
But nobody cares
Its not like it matters

This is life, always so unfair
It always bring us pain
But I will survive
No matter what I will keep sane

All I have left is the shattered hope
It may one day mend
But this is still hard to cope
But I wont fall like this pain intends

I gave up on her in the past
But this pain was still here
I knew it would last
This was my only fear

My love might not last every day and night
But I will never give in
I won’t give up until I reach the light
The light inside that still burns bright

I know people say
Love doesn’t last forever
But I will wait
Even if the results will be never
