Hidden Emotions

by steven   Mar 1, 2006

At night the town is quiet...
as of the bottom of the ocean....
A feeling so secret, nothing like it.
everything shaded, everything hidden.

But I discover myself within,
thoughts of her call out to me.
But here I lay in ruin,
as memories strike me relentlessly.

I search for a way to forget,
a way to let go of her, of the past between us.
The more I try, the more I regret,
at every attempt, all renders hopeless.

I've strived to regain control,
trying hard to not shed loose a tear.
I keep holding back, not letting go.
Forever emotionless, with nothing to appear.

I finally found the one,
but to her I'm not the same
And nothing is to be done
I just can't afford this game...

No matter how much I hurt inside,
I'll somehow be near you.
In my heart you'll forever reside...
A love to be forever true...
