Foolish are the few

by dandy   Aug 29, 2005

One more round, another spin.
The other has collapsed, pulled down by his sin.

So few remain standing, many start to fall.
Heads up to the night, those few ignore their call.

Perfection are they who walk the night.
Chin held up high, they always are right.
Clinging to fake morals, unyielding and tight
They ruin themselves; The pitied beings are a sight.

So proudly they prance around the spinner,
Each one thinking he’s the winner,
But in the end they all are sinners;
Foolish are the few......

Never a wrong doing reflected in their face;
but they don't realize their disgrace
for they're all-knowing in this place
but never will they get to taste
true victory's sweet nectar.......

Whipping winds begin churning,
frozen fire's now burning,
Those standing now learning,
of their mistakes.......

    "Turning turning turning through the years...minutes into hours and hours into years," eh? Good stuff. Little deviation from your normal writing, but just as good
