Reality

She is nothing more than an ordinary girl
Waiting for her life to all come clean
She watches the raindrops fall
And shatter to the ground
Thinking silently
Of the tears she once cried
Her mind wanders to the knife she once used
And starts to imagine of where it could be
Those late nights that haunted her
That kept the knife digging deeper
And kept the pain burning within
All the words she said
Are spilled across a blank page
Where silence speaks louder then words
And as she turns around
She realises this is nothing more than a dream
Because what she has written is unfortunately reality
The cuts she made are still appearing
And the tears still drop like petals falling
But as this girl begins to realise
That this will be her final reality
She finally sees that the girl that’s been hiding all alone
Is none other then me…
