Two Days

Two more days until school starts.
I finally get to see all my friends.
This summer was so boring,
I actually wanted it to end.

I don't know why, but I'm excited.
I know I'll be back to the books.
But still that doesn't change the way I feel.
I can't wait to see everyone's new looks.

This year will be different for me,
It won't be the same as last year.
But that doesn't worry me one bit.
There will be nothing to fear.

I didn't do much fun things this summer.
That's the reason I want to go back.
I got everything I need for that first day,
To carry in my really cool backpack.

It's not about the homework,
It's about seeing all your friends.
I can't believe it,
But finally the summer ends!
