Grey skies and dark clouds.
Lifeless trees and desolate grounds.
Abandoned furniture, an old house.
Silent souls, no crowds.

Where has the life gone?
What's happened to the years?
Is there anything I've done?
Lost inside of my childish fears.

Broken faerytales, no rhyme.
Love and life, can't combine.
Contradictory, they collide.
Forever moving, standing time.

Where has the life gone?
What's happened to the years?

Lost inside of my childish fears.

Holding onto something.
That was lost some time ago.
Searching for anything.
Anyone who knows.

Silent prayers, no witness.
Healing scars, hurt filled tears.
