Forget your face

by Arkon   Sep 2, 2005

A memory, a murderer, an a hearse
Your locket with my picture, stolen by that nurse
It's a cruel world and the king's got the crown
It's that little touch of hipocracy that kicks you when you're down

Maybe it makes no sense but a prophecy no less
Nobody cares that you made a mistake unless you come out and confess
It works like a city where nothing stops
But it's just your life and it's sh^tty and it's these times when you say wheres that cop

Alright I admit this story is about you
Becasue once you left, once you died, my worst fears came true
I dragged her down and I pulled her back there where nobody else can see
And life will go on again and I'll fly again, happy and free

I miss you more than words can say
I love you more each day
Without you hear time seems to have died
You left me here alone and all I could do was cry

Why couldn't you have taken me too
Rather than leave me here to stay all alone today

Crack a fake smile for the last time
Your life stolen to the soundtrack of a wind chime

Love won't die like you did
I'll hold your heart higher than anyone else's bid
