Thoughts

Drifting through the scattered darkness of life, I find the beauty that I have always craved presented to me in many ways. Those that reach out to us that reside in the night, that strain forth from their mortal bonds to try and embrace the darkness we contain, are indeed intoxicating. Yet many of these souls are imperiled by not knowing the truth of what they seek.

Darkness is not death, death is not darkness. However they are so closely intertwined that it is most difficult to see where one ends and the other begins. They are much like lovers that cannot get enough of one another, always twisting and turning in their embraces to find the ultimate joining of life ...and death.

For at the moment of greatest ecstasy, we die a little death while our world goes dark around us. Thus we die a death together and are then reborn into the world of love.

Enjoy all that life brings your way, for it is worth the risk of dying to be one in the dark
