Let It Bleed

Your hurt and sad
your heart is broken
your pain is greater than
any word spoken

your tears are dripping
and gliding down your cheek
you don't want to look at people
you don't want to speak

you run home and collapse
and cry in your bed
suddenly the pain is too much
and then you get an idea in your head

while no one is around
you lock yourself in the bathroom
you grab the razor and cut
and unleash all your misery and gloom

your flesh is split in two
and the blood begins to run
you cry at the pain
and stare at what you've done

you know who shouldn't be doing this
but it just feels so good
you know you should stop this
you would if you could

your tears are the words
on which your heart cant say
cutting is an escape
to make the pain go away

your friends want you to stop
