Razorblade Embrace

by Christy Carpenter   Sep 2, 2005

Nothing now but the whisper of the wind
And the slight crashes of the rain drops
I feel you in this moment,
Your razor blade fingertips have embraced me, folded me in
My blood runs through you,
No battle scars appear.
Happiness scares me,
So I run away in fear.
My train of though jumps the track
And I find myself once again on the cryptic path of loneliness.

Its so crowded with no one around.

Lost in my mind, trying to find you
But the ocean is dry and your reflection has evaporated.
I contemplate at the beginning of the dive.
I take my chance, off the cliff
Into your razor blade embrace.
