Contrition

I feel Contrition today,
I hope God can forgive,
I do not feel the need to say,
The reason I want to live.

I have done something wrong,
To a person greater than me,
I will not live this life along,
If I cannot atone my sins.

So from now on I will think of my actions,
For I need to live a life,
I do not want to feel,
This feeling of Contrition again.

So if I could say sorry I would,
But It is too late,
I did something against my rights,
And took my opinions too far.
