A Natural Disaster

Can you see land
no all I see is sand
sand and clear blue water
but that doesn't matter
cause I have no way out
of this natural disaster
I pray every night
that I'll make it out alive
they sent out divers
but all they found was a knife
instead of a human life
I am starting to give up on life
cause I don't think I'll
make it out alive
