Not so Prefect

You see me everyday
smiling and laughing
walking down the hallway
with my head held high

you'd never guess
I cried myself
to sleep
last night

You just assume
my life is perfect
that i have
everything i want

You'd never think
that my mom drinks to much
or that my dad walked
out on me when i was two.

I hide it so
well not once
have i let a
cut show

Sometimes it gets to
hard, But i got to stay
strong blink away the tears,
hold it in and smile

But once I'm away from
everyone once the
door is locked
thats when it all comes out

The tears start falling
and the blade starts slicing
thats when my life starts
slowly slipping away
