These wings are attached to my back, but why cant i fly, these chains you strapped around my feet releasing me with no freedom. why wont you let me fly away. other angels get to fly so why am i imprisoned in your presence. i will visit but i wont stay. please let me go or at least release the chains. or must you wait until i stop shedding a tear for every summer that passes, every summer that i miss, ever day the shadows fall over turning into the night sky i wonder why you wont let me fly.
