Teenage Girl

by Felicia Angelic   Sep 6, 2005

So she sat,
With her head down low,
Trying to figure out,
Why this is so.
Just last year,
She was a normal girl,
Giving life a try,
Giving it a whirle.
Thoughts keep racing in her mind,
If only she could beat,
Her limited amount of time.
Looking in the mirror,
She cries at what she sees.
Telling herself over and over,
\"This can not be me\".
Feeling all alone,
As if no one cared.
She felt no one was out there,
No feelings could be shared.
Then one day,
This boy knocked on her door.
When she opened to see,
His knees hit the floor.
\"I am so sorry,
I didn\'t mean for you to cry,
I was just at school,
And heard you almost died\"
She asked him to come in,
And she\'d tell him the story,
A strange look crossed his face.
It seemed he was worried.
They both sat down,
And she started to begin.
She soon told him,
All she needed was a friend.
At that moment,
She said, \"Please dont leave,
I have something to tell you,
Something you might not believe\",
She pulled her hair down,
And she washed her face.
In a matter of seconds,
The girl was replaced.
He stared, looking at a girl,
That he knew he loved,
He hoped that somehow,
He\'d recieve help from above.
\"The doctor\'s say,
There isn\'t much hope.
I was told to come home,
And try to cope.
Cope with the fact,
The cancer has gone too far.
And maybe by chance,
If I wish on that star.
I can make it through,
My senior year.
But I am afraid it wont happen,
It\'s my only fear.\"

Ok, comment me and tell me what you think...Should I add on to it.... was the beginning dumb? Was the end dumb? let me know... Thank you!!!
