A Broken Friendship.

Sometimes your very close friends change..
Either someone new comes along
Or somehow they just start drifting from you.
Either way, you still lose them.
No matter how much you want them back
Or how many times you try to fix it..
It just never ever works out
And you end up hurting so bad inside.
You don't even know what to do
But your close friend doesn't realize it
And they start talking to you less.
The only thing left, is to just move on
Even if it means leaving behind a great friend.
Although that's not what you want..
Life's not fair and you can't have your way
And that friend you care so much about
Just leaves you there by yourself.
You're left in the dust with nothing
Hoping that one day they would come back..
Wishing they still talked to you the same way..
Wanting that special close friend.. again.
