Took My Soul Away

Life was getting better
Things were looking good
I started to enjoy the things
Any teenager should

My writer's block had left me
I had so much to say
But then all of a sudden
My poems were taken away

They sent me a little email
Explaining why this was so
They told me i'd violated rules
So my poem's had to go

They stole what i loved dearest
They took away my heart
I can't live without my poems
My soul has been torn apart

No one will understand me
They'll say "it's no big deal"
But they can't see inside me
They can't see how bad i feel

I didn't get a warning
One blink and they were no more
I should have remembered the guidelines
Which is what they were written for

The poems that i lost
They just can't be replaced
They're gone now, gone forever
The truth just has to be faced

I want to warn you people
Don't make the same mistake
If you truly love your poem's
Your's might be the next they take
