Snow Globe

by DaN   Sep 7, 2005

On the side of the brick steps
I saw her emerge from the wall
cold blue flames in her eyes
blue-grey eyes matching
storm clouds threatening us

Her skin infected, yellow
warning not to touch
with hair red like her anger
Id hoped it wouldnt be red today

Snow globe
shake us around
coz we are nothing
next to you

Road beyond us, near us under us
brown without want to be a road
thanks to those before us
I walk with her so I wont be alone
searching for other lives
other souls

maybe they are all like her
maybe Im the one who is different
maybe Im the mutation

The storm clouds throw their rain
hurting me like verbal abuse
trying to ignore it
but it saddens me
and I want it to stop

I recognise her
shes the one I knew
puts my difference into perspective
I shouldnt have known her
I cant even be trusted

Open your eyes
see us lost and in pain
even though we helpless
you cause us hurt

The globe shakes
shes thrown away from me
you taunt above
you want me to be all alone

Now Im takin away your fun
make you shake when im running
you sent the world flying
I hit the glass wall
and die on impact
