A secret

by Rozzy   Sep 7, 2005

Clinging to this secrecy
Living in the depth of it
A forbidden desire of a bitter taste
I live to await my dying day
Yet this secret will not let me wait
Torn between the horror of the dark
And the overwhelming joy of it
My sweet insanity
Too much to take
Raping me of all my self control
Stealing the good from the blackness of my heart
It isn't fair how the beauty is gone
My secret release
Not as sweet as before
My heart breaks loose jumping to my throat
A stone of reality hits me cold
I know the truth I know the way
Yet i wish not to take it
Caught up in the dark
Afraid to stay Afraid to leave
So cut my hesitation Release me
Watch me smile to myself
As i fly away

Ohhhhh, I love your poem. Mysterious and dark, my favorites. Keep up the good work.
