Thank you sweetie...My sister read it...and she also cried. She says she is very sorry about your loss. And thank you for opening her eyes. The man needs to do more than rot in jail. He really needs to suffer.

Oh Luanne I hate reading poems/stories like these! I'm so sorry for the loss in your family. A loss of a child always seems to be the worst....I'd try my hardest to make your family feel less hurt if I was there because I hate hearing people are in pain..I hope your better and know you cousin is with Jesus just living it up, watching down on her family!
As for the poem, wow you a very talented woman! I just loved this, the structure and flow of this was amazing! My eyes jumped from line to line and i love poems like that!! What an amazing poet you are and keep up the terrific work!

Thats sooo sad great poem

the only stanza i didnt get was this

He raped you and he beat you
then asked his friends to join
said you could go home now
with the toss of a coin

seemed like that was purley said for the sake of rhyming or maybe im just dumb and not getting it but hey 5/5

Oh my gosh that's so sad.. wow.. I'm around that age, almost 13, but thankfully I know about this stuff so I'm kinda.. more careful.. But sometimes it can't really be helped. Great poem, I'm so sorry about your cousin.. 5/5 Awesome write:)

If I were you I would feel the same... this is written well!!! I'm sorry for your loss...

I can't even fathom the pain you and your family were dealt. I have never been faced with such an unfortunate incident and I couldn't even begin to imagine what it must be like. You certainly wrote of this very well...sad that you had to write of it at all...in any circumstance. It makes me sick that we have such people walking the same earth as us. It is certainly NOT fair. My neices and nephews are forced to stay within eye site of the house. They have boundaries on our street...between two houses...I think it sucks that they must be restricted to their area for fear such a monster would mistreat them. I pray you and your family are ok and pushing through - God bless all of you! Do take care - excellent write!

WOW! i hope you read this comment; I know there's already so many!! That was one of the deepest poems I have EVER read. It's so sad and cruel that people are that desperate that they'd mess with a CHILD, or anyone in that nature. I apologize deeply from the bottom of my heart, and even though this man caused you and your family grief, you should always forgive, but NEVER forget. God is alWAYS with you.

I have cried more reading your sad two poems then I have cried in over six months. This poem is full of raw powerful emtion. You left nothing to my imagination, it's all in your words. I am sorry that this happened. It's very sad when you loose someone you love, but it's even sadder when that someone is so young and innocent. I have always been a big fan of yours because you have a special way with words. I am adding this poem to my favorite poem list so that I can show it to my friends.
